Curbed my front passenger wheel driving from a section of asfault that was ground down for resurfacing to the raised un-ground asphalt. Just noticed it as I was getting lunch. I am pissed.

It was about 2” between the two sections, and I had to move left to get up on it.

So I’m not supposed to care about my wheels because I daily my car? Didn’t you also think that using the coin car wash brush was also fine? Sorry, but I care about my stuff.

Good excuse to go buy new wheels, those were too heavy anyway...

...the fact that the person who used it before you might have just used it to clean their muddy truck? It’s like drinking a half-full bottle of mountain dew from the side of the highway.

Haha I doubt this singular rash will convince my wife, but it is something I will use in the future. There was a second patch of graded asphalt that I hit head on, and I’m honestly surprised I didn’t get a flat, it was flipping loud, so who knows what shape they are still in. I’ll maybe get the dealer to check them when I swap out to my winters.

Yeah, they had in intersection torn up like that near me for 3 weeks. I hit one of those joints so hard one day I was sure I’d have a chunk missing from a wheel.

I’m glad I didn’t opt for 18’s on my car, with the shitty roads you need all the sidewall you can stand.

I finally got around to getting handwash supplies, hopefully I can get some free time to give it a nice wash and wax!

That reminds me..i need to get some plastic cleaner for my back window...

I recently washed and waxed my car, and the most annoying little drizzle of rain came. Just small enough to not bead and roll off my wax and instead left a bunch of dirty water spots. Sigh.

Damn. Gutter rash is the worst. You could probably get that fixed for $100-200 at a shop, though.

I don’t think its worth it, I intend on getting smaller diameter wheels at some point, and I’d rather spend money on that. I might get a quote and see though.
