I can’t see anything either that is blatantly obvious that anyone would get, if I had to guess I would say is he looking at the number plate with LD RR being Land Rover Range Rover? idk probably looking into it too much

I think that’s more the LED flicker rate, but it could pulse too, mainly because you’re not supposed to power cycle projectors that quickly ever.

The projectors are actually both permanently on, it’s the LED side lights that pulse. The 3 series our police use are set up the same.

Okay. I don’t see anything other than the ‘BMW’ on the roof which is a thing they put on demo cars and usually has no force specific crest as it gets passed around the various forces (here being used on the British leg of Le Tour De France), the headlights as said by Twingo, gently pulse on and off while the grille and the lightbar LEDS strobe. The licence plate is tenuous for a Land Rover reference.

Here’s a few other BMW demonstrators that made it into service (with the ‘BMW’ roof decal removed).

Ford do the same.

Some others

You’ll notice none have a police force crest on the door or rear window, this is due to them being passed from one force to another.

My local plod.

This one is a shared car with Durham and Cleveland police (some forces have ‘merged’ in the sense they share and procure equipment and resources while still remaining their own force).
