It’s not a bright red ‘68 GT fastback with a four on the floor and a big V8 that’s been lowered and had Cragars thrown on. It’s not the Mustang everyone wants. It’s the Mustang most people at the time actually had. It’s just a car.

I’ve always wanted to make a restomod starting with a base 6-cylinder notchback mustang. Keep the exterior stock in its original color and just upgrade the suspension, drivetrain and tires.

I once fell in love with a Yellow 72 Coupe with a Landau top. something like this. But it did have Cragars. and a 351 that sounded meeean.

A friend of mine in high school had a 72 Mustang Grande (the vinyl-top Luxury Coupe) with a 351C 2-barrel, in that exact color.
