Does anyone know if the s660 is coming to the states? Regardless of engine size, is there anything I missed? This just popped into my head and I actually think the s660 will be good and something different for the US market.

They are thinking about it. Just trying to get a bigger engine last I heard

I think it’s more likely they’d produce something on a similar platform but with a boxier non-convertible body and more safety equipment to meat crash standards than just an engine swap.
It would shock me if the S660 could meet rollover standards or side impact standards in its current form.

hmm, just a word, police have more experience with that sorta thing. Maybe purchase some Lube and Condoms.

And honestly, I’d still be okay with it. As long as it isn’t too fat or too underpowered. I might consider purchasing one in the future if they could make it basically a mid-engine 500 Abarth with VTECyo instead of a turbo (or maybe it will get a small turbo a la FiST)

Yep, agreed. I’d love a mid-engined Fiat 500 competitor.

I had read this on TTAC the other day. I’m optimistic, but I wouldn’t hold your breath...
