It would make sense for the transmission tunnel to be huge if they wanted to maximize ground clearance.

Fun fact:
The LM002 came from a prototype called the Cheetah, which was in the competition for the US army to replace the Jeep, since Chrysler owned Lamborghini at the time. The HMMVW won that competition.

I guess it delivers the same power but with more reliablity? Maybe this car was actually driven like a DD... I could only imagine how that goes.
