So today, a buddy of mine, me and a couple other guys went out to pick up this:
EDIT: okay, to clarify, this is not mine. it’s my friend’s.

Can it do sick jumps?
![]() 08/07/2015 at 22:45 |

Haven’t tried. although the suspension may make the impact feel insignificant.

How much did you pay?
How many miles are on it?
How much of it doesn’t work?

Well, how is she!? :) Stick or Auto? Running OK? Any issues? How much did you get her for? Enlighten us! :D
Is this this the same one from your previous post?

V6 Auto, Car runs like a top, despite an exhaust leak and a fuel leak, and survived the 70 KM trip home, since UHaul was more interested in people moving. some minor cosmetic stuff, clear coat is coming off. Bought for $750 CAD. My buddy is considering trading for a Manual V6 in a couple months, already has an interested party.

Are you going to put stance on it with lots of camber?
![]() 08/07/2015 at 23:15 |

I didn’t pay. but my friend paid $750 for it
odometer is in KMs, so I do not know.
Not much, suprisingly. It’s fully functional.

Well done for saving a 505. What year is it btw?

No, I am not. Not mine.

1987, V6 Auto.

why?
![]() 08/07/2015 at 23:25 |

They’re supposedly awesome cars. they have to be seen in person to be understood.
![]() 08/07/2015 at 23:26 |

Might seem weird, but I like the way they look.
![]() 08/07/2015 at 23:29 |

Nah, they really look good. You’re not alone on that.
![]() 08/07/2015 at 23:48 |

Definitely would. I have always wanted to say I owned a Pew-jut. I have owned a Ren-awlt before. (believe it or not, this is how it used to be pronounced in this country years ago).

Congrats. Did you post photos of it to the Peugeot Facebook page? If so, that seemed like a fun adventure. How’s the suspension? Looks like it might be sitting a little low in back.
![]() 08/07/2015 at 23:55 |

I didn’t. A friend of mine owns it, and i feel he might post it. I haven’t driven or ridden it, so I can’t say. He said it’s normal.

This one is a v6 with a slushbox. Quite raspy with the flexpipe broken.

Are you afraid?
![]() 08/08/2015 at 00:19 |
|
Nope, not at all.

u wot m8?
If you’re asking for an opinion, this doesn’t look bad, but wouldn’t do it due to horrible roads here, and these are quite hard to find.

I just remembered. The car was loaded. I carried the rest. *facepalm*

There are two among us who are wise in the ways of such creatures. Elusive folk, you shall know them both as 505, one of morphine, one of turbeaux, and should they deign to grace these humble comments, they shall know, and indeed seek to know, everything.
Where are you? It looks to have the much better Euro headlamps. US cars had plastic bezels around crummy sealed beams.

I’m in Canada, it’s been converted to euro lights by the P/O, there was one local to me, (which is now where my buddy picked his up) that has those lights and I know how crummy they look

$750 CAD, 137 thousand miles, and only the turning signals and 4 way flashers. also my right rear window, and the sunroof... and my left headlight... and right tail light. Also the fuel sloshes out from the filler neck area on hard left turns apparently (smells like gas... weird as hell).

Uhh... haven’t tried it yet. The suspension is VERY good. Extremely direct steering and handling is superb, however the ride is soft and cushy like a Cadillac. Best of both worlds... although major body roll!

Why the hell not? It’s a beast. Try to find me one with ZERO rust like this one. Never winter driven, full maintenance records, tonnes of manuals... It’s the best $750 you can ever spend.

Not this one, the next one will be full customization. This is my restoration project, I gotta do it to please the god of Peugeot.

I had that happen on my 73 Celica on the race track. get a new fuel cap, the seal in yours is probably all dried out.

Makes sense. Will do!
