So the guys in the back did a Mazda3 today. The customer requested a custom color combo with contrast stitching (that doesn’t match the red stitch on the shift boot and steering wheel) but it’s a good look in that light blue on the 3.
The color inside is called Quicksilver. It’s a nice light gray with a slight blue undertone and it complements the exterior and lightens up the whole car. This one had black cloth from the factory:
The iPotato 5c pictures don’t show it all that well, but the stitch is actually dark blue. It stands out nicely in sunlight.
And when you’re doing a custom color, it helps that the door panels get covered, too. It just brings it all together.
I have noticed that the Touring has much better seats than the Sport. The height adjustment makes a world of difference for a big boy like me.

The contrast looks excellent. To me only a few colors make good contrast with red stitching.

To me, red stitch only looks good on black. Most of the cars we do with red stitch are black or two-tone black and something else.

How much does a custom leather wrap like this typically cost for a standard sized sedan? I’m sure can vary depending on material, etc...but ball park?
I’m super particular about interior colours on my cars (and tend to love tan leather) but it’s super hard to find something that’s not standard black and boring, or some hideous shade of gray. For the otherwise perfect car might be a great option to keep in mind.

Our shop does kits sewn up from factory patterns. For a 2-row vehicle, Single color is $899, and options like perforation or stitching add $50 each. Embroidered logos add $25 per logo. Some of my older posts have some stuff we’ve done at CST charlotte.
All our leather kits have a lifetime warranty and prices include professional installation.

Yeah I remember seeing pictures from other cars every now and then on Oppo. Stuff looks great - pricing sounds pretty damn good too. Will have to consider such options out here on the West Coast if I ever end up with a car I can’t resist that has a bland interior.

You're in the Bay Area? There's a CST over in Hayward. Their prices may be higher because it's by the bay.
