I have a 2012 smart fortwo, just crossed 80,000 miles this morning. My current average is 96 miles per day. The odometer reading when I first bought it was 10 miles.
Who else has young cars with tons of miles? :)

My car isn’t young but it is approaching 200k I’ve put over 20k a year on it since I’ve had it.

I’ll hit 6 digits in November on my Milan, it’s an 07 but I’ve put 50k on it in 2.5 years (time I’ve owned it) I’m at 97k

My Mustang GT has 60K mi on it.

Memes on a tach? You weren’t joking on the 2012 part of your Smart!

My A4 isn’t young either, but it’s coming up on nearly 150,000 miles. The only issues that it’s had the entire life of the car have been wear items.

From March 28 until July 30, I did an average of 54 miles per day. Since then, I’ve reduced it to just 3 per day. My average from March 28 until now is about 51.

VAG products do really well with high mileage in short timeframes (from my experience and observation). Not enough time for the plastic and rubber to get brittle and start failing :D

These le funny maymays XDDDDDDD were already stale in 2012.

Mine is a 1997 model built in 1996........

Muahahaha I installed them in 2014 or so. And that’s even worse, it’s actually a speedometer! :D

Wow! Our 08 Odyssey has yet to hit 75K as far as I know... The LEAF might have just hit above 20K... Not sure though.

I just turned over to 264,000. I’ve owned the car for just over 2 years and anything over 222,000 is mine.

Wow, congrats! My ‘98 B5 only had 155k when I donated it a few months ago. The 2.8 was still going really strong, too, but the rest of the car was starting to fall apart.
Every maintenance to me became a nightmare because something else would break in the process. I just didn’t have whole afternoons to work on window regulators anymore...

How do you know what speed you’re actually going? Do you just keep up with traffic and hope it’s right?

my 08 Mazdaspeed 3 has 139,459 miles. Is that a lot?

Not bad! I’ve got the 12v 2.8 which is a bit on the slow side, but it’s much more reliable than the 1.8t. It’s a good car, no real issues, good enough gas mileage, five speed, no rust. Good car for the money, knock on wood no window regulator issues.
All I need is an alignment and a new speed sensor :P

We bought the Kia on April 2, 2013 and it had seven miles when we drove it off the lot. Now it’s just a hair under 48k. The commute for me to take my wife to work and then go to my work is just about 72 miles a day. Sometimes I have to run home, 23 miles from work, and then head back to pick her up, 28 miles out.
All the while, averaging about 30 mpg.

Ahahahah. So it’s a period appropriate part, except installed 2 years later.

I put them on a year ago (at 42k lol). After driving the car so many miles, you just remember what each notch is. 50 mph is Obama, 100 mph is Cereal Guy. :)

Hooray for daily drivers driven a lot!

my old f150 had 187,000 on it when i sold it

Nah it's the other way round for me, I’ve got a 15 year old car with 45k miles.

The 30V wasn’t much different in the power department, but the 5MT made it decent, especially for its time (0-60 in just over 7sec). I had an Eibach suspension, shortshifter, and a couple other minor mods. Loved the car for most of the years I drove it from 2001-2015.
And my newer DD is the wife’s old car...4motion wagon, 2001.5 (much slower, but nicer than the old one). I just can’t escape the B5, apparently :D

Your gauge is amazing. My car only has about 134,000 on it.

Think it was 170 HP for the 12v and 190 for the 30v, not a huge difference but the 30v was more customization especially in the power and exhaust department. Mine is lowered on Raceland coilovers and I’ve got a few cosmetic mods going on. (Installing coilovers for the first time sucked the life out of me XD)
I’m going to upgrade to a B8 in about six months so I’ll just have to see how that goes.

I’ve seen a Smart with over 100k once. It was at the Smart dealer - they took it on trade and it was going to the auction because it had engine issues.

My 04 F150 has 195200 problem-free miles on the 5.4 Triton.

On the smart forum, we have members with 2008s and 2009s with 200,000 miles and up. That’s amazing because these engines are rather fragiles. There are also a couple diesels up in Canada with 300,000 - 400,000+ miles on them.

256k on my 93. Well over 285k on my 95.
The 93 is a built motor, stick swap. The 95 is all original.
Sold an 06 Stratus SXT with 297k (2.7L for the haters).

Mother of christ that’s a lot of mileage! :) I also wasn’t aware the Stratus was still around in 06’! I thought it died a number of years before that.

06 was the last year. It was replaced by the Avenger.
It was a great car. 2.7L V6 with intake, headers, full exhaust, and a tune. Made 219WHP, 212WTQ. Stock is 200/200 flywheel, so it was making a substantial amount more power. It was quick, got around 30mpg too.
Can’t find any of my old pics, had it lowered on B&G coilovers, upgraded the brakes, blacked everything out, carbon hood. Was a very sharp car.

Found them finally.
