August... the hottest month of the year in Texas but yet we lucked out. As I type this a 104°F Saturday is approaching. On the way back from work today I saw 110°F on the dash of my Grand Marquis. Sure, concrete and exhaust heat might have something to do with that but I was happy the air-con in my panther is the best air-con I have ever had. No, last Saturday it was still below 100 for the entire day. It was a good day, and a lot of people came out!

I knew that there where a bunch of skylines that where going to make an appearance due to “skyline nationals” going on at that week. rivsu imports out of Florida had 3 cars there that drove from and another that was trailered. I talked to them for a bit, and learned that between 20-30K can land you in one pretty sweet R32. Tempting, but I also saw a R31 skyline that looked pretty darn sweet. Lets not mention the cover car... If there was an R34 I missed it, but those R33’s have been growing on me like crazy. I am being tempted by the forbidden fruit! No... I must stay true to the V8! Although in all honesty I just want to end up like Jay Leno at the end of my life, albeit on a bit (ok, a LOT) smaller scale.

I shot a lot of footage this time around, and surprisingly I found a lot more usable footage. The result is the longest Cars & Coffee video I have ever done. I hope you enjoy this month’s installment!
