All four major carriers went kaput over several states today. T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon all went down at roughly the same time. Creepy.
We switched from AT&T to Verizon almost a year ago and this is the first time we have ever had any problems. At least we aren’t alone.
Someone done screwed something up somewhere, and they did a good job of it too. Gotta admit, though, it’s been refreshing not having my phone bothering me all afternoon.
I live in Western Kentucky, smack dab in the middle of the outage. Got these outage maps from !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
They don’t have an ETA on when things will be back up and running again, either. People just might go insane...

Someone cut a fiber trunk for AT&T in W. Ky, supposedly. Pretty nuts that it happened to be the main trunk for the whole area.

I bet it was caused by me starring comments while in Louisville today.
The networks were Kinja’d.

Not sure if T-mobile has less affected area because they have a stronger network, or because they can’t have an outage in area they never had service.
