Next summer hopefully... I’m selling the Sentra next year and I’ll have some money saved up from work. But for now look at this hotness...

They’re honestly very capable cars with a not-significant investment. Fix the front end geometry, convert to a panhard bar/watts link rear and you have yourself a light, simple car that will be limited by your talent for far longer than it will be by its own technical shortcomings.

Oh for sure! And parts are presumably waaaaaaaaaaaay easier to come by than on my obscure 90s Japanese performance car

I’ve been toying with the idea of getting one myself...I'd love an SSP car like the notchback in your last picture. The reenforced floor pans in those seem like a good idea, since the floor pan is a known weak point of the Fox body...there's lots of 5.0s out there with crooked seats.

Never seen that one! The DTM Stang is one of my favorite race cars of all time

Agreed. It would be pretty easy to replicate, throw all the Ford Racing (or other brand) chassis parts at it, there’s all sorts of big brakes you can get. The engine is somewhat close to “optimised” OEM stock, but also quite free in that they could change the compression, cam and injectors, intake and exhaust. The wheels are BBS center-lock which might be tough to find but the Aero/Cooling covers on the front could be made pretty easily.

Hokey GM engine, pointless garbage, not logical. There somehow was not a Ford engine that would work for this.
