Ask me anything, and if the question warrants an interesting enough reply - I will illustrate the answer tomorrow.
Other questions I may answer here.
PS: car related questions may have interesting replies.

Which illustrator/cartoonist would you say is your largest influence?
Your drawing is awesome.

When I was younger I think my biggest inspiration was Peter Aschwanden’s illustrations for
How To Keep Your Volkswagen Alive
. I think there’s still a bit of that alive in how I draw today.
Today I’m not sure I have a biggest influence. I’ve looked through so much from so many places and taken away so many ideas and lessons. Although the last time I think I had a “revelation” about drawing it was like ten years ago when I first saw Taiyo Matsumoto’s
Black and White
.

Would you rather eat a yard of rhubarb in two minutes or bicycle from Albania to Serbia in one night?

Do you like trees or “trees”?
If the former: Have you ever used a tree as a boat? Conversely, have you ever used a boat as a tree?
If the latter: Ever re-enact “Smoke on the Water”?

I wasn’t familiar with Taiyo Matsumoto. Neat stuff.
Glad to see another artist on Oppo:)

I don’t get it.

Considering Serbia and Albania are next to each other it seems like the easiest task to accomplish.

Interesting combination. I managed a tree nursery many years ago. What is your favorite tree and why?

That’s a tough one. I regret asking that question now, haha.
Like you most influences came when I was young.
Alex Raymond
Mark Schultz
Al Williamson
and Frank Frazetta(his line work above all)
As an adult, John Paul Leon’s work was the last time I was like “Oh, shit!” His work is really the only time I’ve seen illustrations as a 3D object.

No, you have to go through Montenegro and/or Kosovo. Minimum of about 27 miles, as the crow flies.

Coniferous or deciduous?
Classic cigarette or modern sport?

I’ve written a series of mystery/sci-fi novels around John Muir’s Velvet Monkey Wrench. Any interest in illustrating them?

If it’s a paying gig, I would be interested.
