Round 2 of the Oppo Fourza Classic Roadsters Series Starts in One Hour

The next stop in our trip around the world takes us to the beautiful forests of New England at the Maple Valley Raceway in Maple Valley, New Hampshire. (And for the longest time, I thought it was somewhere in Canada…)

Built in 1958 on old public roads, Maple Valley Raceway is a figure-eight course known for its sweeping high-speed turns and elevation changes, as well as the sceneic views like the colorful trees, rolling hills, and old road landmarks. This course is host to many track day events, ranging from entry level racing to experienced grand touring races, as well as many recreational events.

Maple Valley Raceway is a fictional track, but it is one that has been a Forza favorite and had been in every game until Forza 5 came out. It is a fun and scenic track, loved by racers, drifters, and photographers alike.

Just be careful not to Orlove.

*REMINDER* The race begins at 3:30 PM CST, and the lobby opens up half an hour before that. Be sure to arrive early just in case of connection issues!

If you haven’t already set up your car or signed up, it’s too late for you to join in for this race, but you can join in on the next one when you’re ready.

The lap time to meet for this week’s race is 1:48.800. Please take plenty of time to familiarize yourself with the track and to tune your car. Also note that this is Maple Valley Full Reverse , which is a different experience from the normal version. Please tune accordingly.

Since when does this have a fin? I might just have to ditch the Maserati for one. Even though the Maserati is my baby... that lonely little taillight is so adorable. But.... I want a fin, too, dammit! Oh well...

Not to mention there’s a few turns on the track that’ll really add/subrtact from your time depending on if you take them a certain way. It’s a little insonsistent at times (though not as bad as Laguna Seca).

I’m not going to make it this week. I fully intended to, until I accidentally set the roommate’s air conditioner on fire... which burnt a bit of the house. Everyone’s fine, house is fine. I’m a colossal idiot.

That’s good then as I have removed all performance upgrades, removed weight reduction mod, only on first tyre upgrade and still beat the time however if I removed the tyre upgrade I'm like 4 seconds off the time even with power upgrades
