While on business in Dongguan, China, my dad was able to snap some pictures some cars.
Here they are now:
This is a.... Car?
We now see the Haval something-or-other in its natural habitat.
Here’s a Toyota of sorts
The van above is a Toyota Alphard IV. I couldn’t make that up, but it’s okay because its luxuriously equipped with curtains in the back window.
He even brought home a Chinese car magazine which along with the acceleration and braking tests, reports on the accuracy of the speedometer.
Bonus:
Caption this photo.

That first Toyota - any idea what it is? It looks almost like the Sienna’s smaller Asian cousin.

You can definitely see the masculine qualities of men in this shot.

Looks to me like the product of a Mazda 5 and a Camry partaking in dirty activities.

Yup. You and For Canada nailed it. Interesting that the first-gen was known as the Previa here.

I drove that first car in Africa! That’s a Chery QQ. Equipped with a mighty 800cc 3-cylinder pumping out 51 whole horsepower. It was perhaps the shoddiest built newish car I have sat in to date, yet I thoroughly enjoyed tossing it down the dilapidated unpaved lanes of Mozambique, and even going off-roading in Kruger National Park down south. Terrible, wonderful car.
