It was a base diesel and that is only vaguely important. I knew the XE had awesome suspension all the way through the range but man alive the brakes must be too as this car had huge discs on all four wheels. I have a hunch that the XE will be popular with tuners.

They are indeed and my local dealer is advertising them. Production began in April.
