That spoiler probably weighs more than the amount of downforce it’s going to provide at Miata speeds.

Did you read the link?

Much want too. That spoiler is good cause this car is going to need it!

I feel like buying a v8 Miata is cheating. It has to be created with your own blood sweat and tears to make it properly. Haha this thing is awesome though.

It looks really well done to me. I think I’m just a sucker for extractor hoods and race wheel/tire combos. Also, those silver intake bezels just look so good!

Yeah, I don’t know if you can get enough tire under the rear of a Miata.

Agreed, definitely seems legit. If I were to be in the market for a V8 Miata though, I would definitely want it to be stock looking as can be. But I really have a thing for sleepers. My only concern would be balance. All that power means nothing to me if the 50/50 balance is ruined. I really want to talk to someone with one of those and see what the car's character is like too. Is it really still a Miata?

I saw someone that had done a similar build in which they swapped in the entire rear suspension from a Mustang so that bigger, fatter tires could be used. Thing looked nuts and was VERY fast on the auto-x course.

I agree, I’d love a comparo with the Super20.
