I have lived in a tent for weeks at a time. I am no stranger to camping. My wife and children have never gone camping. This weekend I am going to change that. Wish me luck!

Yeah they’ll have fun. Found a cool campground on a lake the takes about 80% of the area of the town that it is in.

Make sure you find a nice secure tree to tie the children to so they don’t run away! They can be surprisingly strong when they get some determination.

Put a few of these around the campsite after everyone turns in for the night. Guaranteed fun for everyone.

Good luck with the wife and kids. Some people love camping, and others loathe it. Hopefully your crew will fall in the former category.

Good luck. I love camping, my wife hates it. This is a decided advantage in my favor - results in more “man time” in the wilderness.

bring things to do. have them help cook the meal if you can and give them an activity for cleanup time.
