For some reason that Escort engine looks like half a pushrod V8 to me. But other old four cylinders don’t. A Volvo B20 doesn’t resemble a V8, and neither the Lampredi nor Alfa Twincam resemble half a DOHC v8.
Wierd. Perhaps it’s the combination of pushrods and crossflow.

In my opinion, the Fiesta is way better than the Corvette. I guess that’s why I’m on Oppo.
