That means that if I had any respect for my safety, my wallet, the environment, what people think of me and any sort of resale value, I’d be driving this instead of the Range Rover/Citroen combo.

I don’t know, but I just can’t like the CC.

CCs are actually quite nice! I got to sit in the back of one a few years back and was pleasantly surprised at how spacious and well sorted the interior was.

I love how it looks, like a plebeian 1st gen CLS. The V6 is nice enough and it has all the nice things a modern Passat has.

It is very good car, a CLS shaped Passat with character.

I think it’s pretty sexy.

I drove one from Houston to Phoenix immediately after flying in from Frankfurt having spent two days in the airport prior to our flight. Oh, and I had a three year old and a one year old with me. It did great.

I actually just bought this beauty about about 3 weeks ago. Autotragic, turbo 4. I really enjoy it. It a nice place to commute, maybe a little underpowered but nothing a tune couldn’t fix. I would recommend one to anyone looking for a upscale affordable ride.

With the S4 drivetrain I’d be interested, but it’s way too big to be dragging itself around by the front wheels.

Maybe, but this is a sensible car.

V6 or the Turbo?

Ah, the newest one! It looks even better, great choice!

It was the turbo. I averaged 100 mph across Texas and I still got 22 mpg which is good in my book. It had the leather seats which were nice. The engine was nice, but my wife has an X1 with BMW’s turbo four, and it blows the VW unit out of the water.
