I believe that’s a first gen Nissan Maxima under all that - thoughts? Sorry for the finger - I had to move fast.

We had just seen one of the most disappointing apartments ever, but I had to prove to SigOther that the neighborhood and the building had nothing to offer. No taxis without fares, so we Ubered it. Right before the car got there (4 cylinder black Camry, very clean and spacious) I saw this ... thing, coming up the street. I knew I had to nail it.

Landau top, (poorly) molded bodykit, car bra, chrome wheel opening moldings, chrome ventshades, and those wheels...
The owner is a set of chrome door pillar trim and curb feelers away from a 10/10.

Those were quite the sensation in their day - decent looking, reliable for the time, and roomy. I remember riding in a wagon and liking it a lot. I think they came out before the 2nd gen Camry of which I was a proud owner - ‘88 wagon 5M.

I’m lucky I got most of the car in the shot - took just one frame. And on the Uber home saw not one but two Maseratis. Not even near the dealership. Also an Escort with wheels on it worth more than the car. Went by too fast to get a photo.
