I installed my new JDL Auto Design Catted UEL header on thursday night, not had much time to really enjoy it till today this is what it looks like before fitting
I decided to go out for a drive and get a quick clip of it pulling away where you really hear the sound
That sound is so addictive, I find my self just keep blipping the throttle even when just normally driving around town just to hear that burble

I’ve been debating a UEL as well!
Any idea what it does for gains though? Reliable dynos that show at worst no loss?

That’s stock exhaust + header?

sounds cool but is it a good idea for scavenging exhausts?

nah it has a Berk high flow 2nd cat and then a invidia q300 clone (cheap ebay job)

after a tune it pretty much wipes out the torque dip, plenty of dyno’s out there show it

not ideal for scavenging but sounds great and improves the torque

Same is true for a good tune on its own... But good to know. So no gains? What size is the piping? 2.5”?

the website listing says the runners are 1.75” but the exit hole definitely looks like 2.5”

As the owner of a GTO with headers and a full Magnaflow exhaust, damn Subies sound good with exhaust work.
