An Audiovox C-977. AM/FM with the 8-track player hiding behind the radio faceplate. I think it was build in like 1978-1980ish. A coat of paint, it should fit nicely in the Trans Am. It looks as if it can only drive two speakers but I want it to drive four (two front and two back) but I don’t know how to make that happen. Update: Hooked it up to a DC power supply and a speaker and it works! The 8-track part is mint, speed is set perfect and everything! Need to clean the pots though.

See what happens. I think some of them had 4 speaker output, but no idea how to tell. If your experiment fails, get one from this place and let me know how it goes, because I’m looking into this for my car:

I believe there are stand-alone amps that will send it to four.
