We got a new CEO at work, and she’s pushing a “Go Green” initiative. It’s being pushed by putting a full-color half-sheet of paper telling about it... in every single cubicle in the company. All 500+ of them.
When everyone saw it as the heavy-handed BS it was and promptly recycled the first round, a second round was printed and put up in all of the cubicles.
Go green!
Now I throw my recyclables in the regular trash intentionally.

I can see how this would resonate with people who drive Toyotas to and from an office job every day. Kind of like “hey, Toyota understands me!” The irony is that Toyota is the exact kind of gargantuan corporation that seems like it would encourage an atmosphere like this.
It’s also one reason I’d rather work as a bike messenger than in an office.
