This Craigslist post for a 1934 290C is wonderfully bonkers.
“Built in Stuttgart, the car was originally purchased by Franz Schallweg, who served as an SS officer in a German infantry unit attached to a Panzer division....” and it only gets better.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
All I can think is which one of you brilliant bastards posted this!?!?

Before recent events, it would’ve been cool to have a car that let you get away with putting Nazi flags on it. Now... not so much.

Go back to Hemmings, 1934 Mercedes, you’re drunk.

Cool car and cool story, but I have no clue what the price should be.

Fun “story”, but that car looks awful!

I know right. It’s without a doubt BS but I give the seller an A for effort. Also the interior and engine swap are a total bummer.
