I live between my grandparents and parents places for the time being (job hunting so I can move out) and my insurance is due. So I was deciding which house to park my car at and register it to. The houses are 2 miles apart and yet just registering to my granparents saved me £150 on insurance... I guess I’ll be mostly living there then.

Grandparents are cool though. More lax than parents and they cook what you like. At least in my experience haha

My grandparents are pretty awesome. My grandad is the one who taught me to work on cars (he still fixes his own car despite being almost 70) and my grandma is one of the most helpful people I know. That said my parents are pretty cool too.

With how easily the police can find uninsured drivers and fine the shit out of them it’s probably cheaper to be insured haha.

I’d be happy with the 1.2L if it were me, haha! I don’t worry about speed really...top speed is irrelevant, almost nobody ever gets the chance to take their car to that limit in everyday use, or even track use. Handling would be my concern if I were doing upgrades, but I’d just be happy with a small, nippy little hatch in general! :)

Yeah I don’t wish for more power too often, other than long motorway journeys. How chuckable and fun it is helps make up for the lack of speed. The RS must be even more fun though.

Thanks man, it’s nothing special but I worked hard to afford this car and love the thing.
