Has anyone else been having a problem with starring comments and posts? For some reason when I go to star a comment it just returns me to the top of the page so I have to try starring a few more times until it works. The strange thing is it’s happening on my computer and not on my phone. Maybe it’s a Safari issue?

Have the same issue, but with IE 10 on my phone. Firefox on W8.1 works fine right now.

It does this on Droid mobile too. Basically I can’t do anything but browse on mobile, it’s been shitty for months, now it’s worse.

This happened to me last week when I was trying to star comments critical of gawker editors but only on gawker itself. Oppo was fine.

I’m having issues too. I’m using Safari on Mac and sometimes I can star people, but I usually just get bumped to the top of the page.

I have the same issue with Windows 10 using Microsoft Edge browser. Kinda kills the interactivity of the site when I can only comment once or star once per page before it becomes a non-interactive mess.

I’ve even tried taking the URL back to its root and refreshing the page.

Edit: I’d start some of these comments but... yeah. I had trouble even editing this. Had to reload the page twice.

I think the trouble may be related to the fact that as soon as I click the image, it brings up the “tag an image” crosshair cursor for a split second. Is it trying to annotate the image, but fails to do so because it’s not part of the article?

I am still having the starring problems. It briefly cleared up when it first happened @ the 22nd but it went back to stopping me from starring a day or two later and STILL can’t do it.
