I found it funny because the C30 I got was on the lot for less than a day. The !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! has been nearly two months now! Maybe its because they were first asking a few hundred less than MSRP. I wonder just how long it’ll take. So, $15,802 for a 13 Civic LX automatic with 10,969 miles. NPOCP?

I’d just wait for the 2016 Civic.

That’s not a horrible price! I wouldn’t take it though, haha.

CP just because I absolutely hate driving my girlfriend’s 13 civic which she leased...

Seems like a fair price. Side note: I had no idea the Civic still has hubcaps on certain models.

Why do you think I broke my lease a year and a half into it for a used Volvo!?!?

It was around $16,900 like a month ago!

with the interest rates you can get on new vs used cars its CP all the way unless you’re paying cash

She wants her next car to be an HRV... I’m trying to convince her that she either doesn’t need a bigger car or she doesn’t have to have a brand new one (got to pick my battles). So I’ll be probably steering her towards used Juke/Rogue, CX-5, or similar.
She doesn’t quite get how much money you lose on buying a new car most of the time and the starting price isn’t the price of the one she’ll want. She also thinks she doesn’t like leather seats for some reason unknown to me...

Have they shown the production version yet? I was not impressed with that neon green concept. Loved the back of it, but hated the profile. That’s why I was comfortable picking up a ‘15.

But the ‘16 will be completely updated and just for $1000 more than the asking price above.

We were looking for a new car for my mom: everything from the HR-V to the CR-V, RAV4, Forester, etx.
The CX-5 was the best driving. And you can get a lightly used one with less than 20K miles for so much cheaper than brand new! We finally convinced mom that a gently used one was so much better! Let the first owner take the hit

Late model Honda’s are such a catch 22 for us. Everyone expects ridiculous resale value, so trade-in amounts have to be crazy high. But that means that when we price them it ends up being close to the price of new and people don’t buy them.
For the record though, the price they’re trying to sell your LX coupe for, we have a sedan EX priced at. So maybe the dealer is just out of their minds.

Sorry, I jumped topics. Wasn’t even thinking NP or CP on the price. If a buyer has the extra $3 or $4k or spend on a new one, hell yeah I would wait. But a new 2015 LX starts at
$18,490
. So that’s already saving about $60 a month on payments (quick and dirty calculation method). 2016 will be more expensive won’t they? Or did they say they were coming out with an even lower priced model?

It was nice for us because we were just barely in the hole when trading it in. It almost was an even trade in. I know a lot of others cannot say that.
But like someone else said here, the financing deals are so good lately, you are almost better off buying a brand new one. My dealer is doing 0% for 72 months on virtually anything on the lot!
