Yesterday Driving home from work I found a Contintal GT driving home, and just had a few thoughts:
It had a presence, such clean lines it looked good.
It also was really underwhelming. Everything was too clean from the way the tail lights sat to the headlights, the lack of lines, and the noises from it hid that massive engine too well.
Not that I didn’t like it, just a strange car when you realize this thing packs a Twin Turbo W12 and costs more than a lot of houses.

Could have been a V8 also.

I’m not a huge Bentley guy, skimmed Bentley’s site and Wikipedia and only saw mention of the V8, So maybe I missed that option.

In any case, it is a Bentley so it should be pretty quiet...

I find the Bentley Continental somewhat sedate.
But their new EXP10 Speed 6 concept is gorgeous, and noticeably more lithe.

Even the W12s are quiet - the whole car is understated. We have a fair number of the big flying spurs up here to - again, big, fast, but not loud, (visually or audibly)

I expected it to be somewhat audible from the outside but silent on the inside... Not just quiet.

That is nice, a little Aston, a little Bentley.

Large engine doesn’t mean noise. Bentley’s shouldn’t have the noise of a train. Its a higher end luxury car that like you said “has a presence”. And in the luxury world, that stands for a lot.
Their Bentley Speed 8 is the only recent Bentley you’ll “hear” before you see it :P
