!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! Count me in!
This one is actually optioned damn near perfectly as well. Needs moar sunroof but that’s about it.
For how much Ford’s blaming lack of inventory for declining sales I’m surprised to see my dealer has over 100 on the lot and is offering $7-10k off on all of them. Hmmm....

A HUNDRED OF THEM?!?!?!??!

107! Well, 171 if you count leftover 2014s.
Welcome to the Midwest, how would you like your pickup?

*jaw drops*

Ford thinks that $10K off isn’t that big of a discount compared to competitors.

There’s a local dealership that has 2 stores within about an hour of each other and between the two they have 120 F-150s.

Well they have 621 cars in stock, if that tells you anything. 145 Fusions, 64 Foci, 20 Mustangs...

I just saw a commercial for up to $5,000 off a 2015 mustang.
Seriously it’s like it’s just expected that American manufacturers will discount everything. Even shit that’s selling like hotcakes anyway gets thousands off.

Because that’s the American way dammit!

They have to advertise that to get people in their dealerships, but it’s usually pretty restrictive. If your dealer has $10k off the truck that’s optioned they way you want it, buy it, but that says little about truck incentives. Ford still has a supply shortage of ‘15 F150s at most dealers and they sell for a higher average price than any other 1/5 ton truck. If your dealer has 100 of them, they either just got a huge shipment, or they are a huge dealership that has priority. I’m guessing both.

So...not doing so great are they?

That’s not out of the ordinary. When I was selling new Fords(2013/14) it 8-9 grand off MSRP was the usual and I even saw a few up to 12 off. This trend may have gone away for awhile when the new body style first came out, but the 2016 models should becoming out soon so it makes since that the 2015s are back down to a “normal” price.

I just picked up a GT Premium Auto for $34,900, within a couple hundred of $6k off MSRP.

Yep, my friend and I went to look at new F-150's for him and without even talking price the salesman told us that 10k is a pretty standard deduction. Doesn't make sense to me since they are selling really well around here.

Go take it home. You won’t regret it, especially because it doesn’t have the 3.5 EcoBoost. I love these trucks and I will own one someday. It just is even harder because I see them every day because I work at a Ford dealer.

I am in a similar boat: 71 on the lot. Each has at least $8500 in discount!
This one here has over $10K in discounts!
