Actually, most X-Types I’ve ever seen don’t have a hood ornament. Also, this appears to be the facelifted X-Type.

Her Majesty puts her own hood ornaments on, usually a dog or horse. If I recall correctly she has a dog on her Range Rover.

US-market X-Types did have it, though. But newer Jags don’t.
