Not that standings matter at all, but I managed to come in 98th out of like 130, so didn’t come in last! 5th out of 9th in the novice class. The most important part though was my times improved from 74 seconds on the first run to 63 on the fourth. That’s pretty incredible I’d say. First three runs were with instructors and I did the last on my own. Somehow didn’t end up off course on any of my runs but the first two were definitely chaos and I didn’t know what I was doing. By the end of the fourth run, I just wanted to do another ten runs. Maybe just keep doing runs until it was dark. Then put lights on the course and keep going until I literally pass out on the course lol. More of a writeup to follow after day two tomorrow!
Uhhhh which one is my car?
Good thing I numbered it, might have mixed it up otherwise! Note to self, choose an easier number to tape to the car.

Nice. I did my first one two weeks ago. I also managed not to come last and I even managed to be quicker than a Miata. It did take me three runs to get a time (messed up the course the first 2 times, and the 4th run) and I managed to beat it by 3 seconds on my 5th run, which moved me up a few spots. There weren’t any instructors available but I should’ve probably taken a few more ridealongs to get the course down and I could’ve bugged one of the more experienced guys to take a ride with me. Oh well, I had a great time anyway and will do it again. If I’m lucky I’ll be out next Saturday for my next one.

Yeah if I didn’t have an instructor of thpse first couple of runs, no way I would have stayed on course lol

So do I use UPS or FedEx to deliver a new addiction? Because that is certainly my only prize! I would use USPS but I actually want it to arrive to the destination. Be better off using a sled dog team.

Yup, novice e stock (NES). I guess I get to run as a novice for the rest of this season?
