Does anyone care about my analogies and ramblings about what hp and torque “are” and why they matter? I’m writing something based on research I did to answer some of my own questions and I kinda feel like its lame. Just wondering if its worth spending the time to polish/re-write.
Have a picture of a place I want to be again in the meantime.

If you write it, they will complain. But I would read it (though I think I already have a pretty solid grasp of the difference between the two).

Yeah, I think a lot of people do. For me I couldn’t quite get my head around what torque is. In the sense that I knew how it felt, and I knew it was a force that was easy to define scientifically, but not what is was and how it relates to a vehicles “go”. I’m the type that needs to hold something in my hand and look it over before it makes a lot of sense.

not rude, great feedback. Its exactly where I’m sitting with it right now. The diff thing I wrote made me happy, but I think it was too long and dry for anyone to care about.

I enjoy your technical posts, but I have an engineering background so I’m not bothered by wordiness.
I do think the Torque/HP difference is worth talking about though. I mean, what’s the difference between a high torque or a high HP car in how they /feel/ to drive.

I think your stuff is really awesome and interesting to people who already have a genuine curiosity for those subjects.
But for people just scrolling through and clicking stuff, it might not be as valuable.

I too have book marked the diff article. You already schooled me on a part of that (in a great way), so i want to sit down and give it the justice it deserves when i have the time/headspace.
Not everything on here needs to be clockbait/instant gratification.
