is the guy and it seems that he doesn’t want to leave Pakistan anytime soon. Good for us I guess. But seriously, there is no support for G-Wagen in the mountains and the cities up top, still, the Wagens seem to be faring quite well.
The guys are Swiss, and the G-Wagens, well, obviously, they are Austrians with German badging!

I have been more sort of lurking, and busy with trying to make a living. Not a lot of trips recently except few which I couldn’t find time to share. Thank you for your appreciation, will try to bring more, if and when possible.

Nissan has a strategy picked up from Pakistan and India called “Jugaar”, its the way to make things work by just a innovative fix or a simple work-around. That’s what that steering is. Jugaar steering.

I think yeah but what gets you in doubts are all the electronics involved and the post-trip maintenance costs. I will ask Mike on them once he descends from K2.

Correction: The Geländewagen is Austrian. Built in Graz, Austria. It’s only German by badge. ;)
