That moment when I roll into the parking lot of the dealer conference I’m attending today, see that it’s full of Chrysler 200s, and think to myself “Wow, every Chrysler dealer in town must be here.”
And then I realize none of them have dealer plates on them. They're all rental cars. Every single one of them.

Because the ordinary person still thinks of them as a Sebring.

Also, the bottom grille looks like a Focus or late last-gen Mustang.

At the hotel I’m staying at there are a ton as well. Every single one is a rental. I can’t say I’m surprised though.

They don’t look half bad honestly, and I have a weird thing for duck-butt trunks.
But the 300hp, AWD C model isn’t half bad sounding. 9 speed trans with paddle shifters means a lot of paddling going on.

In FCA’s defense, sales are sales, whether it’s to individuals or fleets. I’d be curious to see 200 sales breakdowns, because I can't honestly say I've seen too many of them on the road that I didn't suspect were a rental.

No, it looks like a reflection of its upper grille.

The new 200 would seem to be going to fleets as much as the old one ever did.
As a result, FCA’s sales are up, but their profits are not, since the margins on fleet sales are so small, the only point in dumping product on fleets is to make your numbers look better.
After an initial honeymoon period, I’m almost liking the old 200 better. It certainly had more comfortable seats. The new 200 seats are, imo, as uncomfortable as an 80’s shitbox. The “dial-a-gear” shifter is a hateful thing, and only exists because focus groups tell manufactures they need more room for their junk. The new tranny is good, however, and the notorious torque steer is mostly gone.
One things for sure, however, the new 200 is much, much better looking both inside and outside compared to the old one.
