On my way into work, I noticed a very unusual car coming past (going the opposite direction), but I couldn’t tell what it was. By the end of the day, I had forgotten about it, until, on the way home, in the exact spot as in the morning, I again passed it going the other way.
I was able to see that it was a TVR, and some Googling has lead me to this, which it looked just like (well, with Ohio plates).
First time I’ve ever seen a TVR on the road. It was very interesting - and no I didn’t take any pictures, we were going opposite directions with a total speed difference of 80mph, and I was driving.

A friend of the family has one of these. Vixen, not a Griffith so it’s a 1600 Kent Crossflow I4. He was tired of the V8 guys pulling away from him on the straights so he stuck a honking great turbo on it so it makes a shade over 200bhp.
Doesn’t sound like much, but the whole car weighs about 700kg and I can attest to the fact that it’s fucking fast :)
