Found an E46 at a dealer in Franklin.. Price is really good for the miles. Was wondering if someone could check it out, if it checks out I’ll take the next step and get a PPI.

I know E36’s are your forte but I bet you have a lot of E46 knowledge as well.. I'll see if anyone is closer, I'm gonna give them a call tomorrow to get some more info before anything else happens.

kind of a boring combo but here’s the build sheet. Just make sure it’s in decent mechanical shape.
Make sure you check the VANOS sprocket hub for cracks or backed out bolts. The rear subframe body recall should have been done, as well as the rod bearings recall.
Rod bearings, even with the recall having been done should be considered a service item if you use the Castrol TWS 10w60 oil because it’s so thick... I’d recommend going to a 5w40 if you’re not romping on the car on the regular (i mean like 90% track miles) Here’s a street car’s bearings after just a bit under 80k miles (photo from a friend’s 2001 M3)
looks like it has heated seats and adjustable back bolsters... those seem to be the only 2 good options

I recommend going to Euro Classics for a PPI in Dayton

I agree, black/black is not my ideal combo, if I could find a ZCP Interlagos blue with cloth or caramel interior i’d jump on it.. Only problem is that those only exist in the EAG inventory.
Thanks for the advice. Appreciate it, I’ll look up that shop in Dayton, I’ve noticed indy’s tend to give more thorough PPI’s.
