Spam parks and services everywhere. Put in a Dam as soon as you can in a good location for massive amounts of power.

Traffic. is. everything. Well-planned streets and intersections can make a huge difference. Don’t be afraid to tear down entire block to put in six lane one-way roads; those buildings will come back.
