... and the company it’s in is rather eclectic. Modified ‘79 Volvo/DAF 66, ‘72 NSU TT widebody, ‘29 Citroën, ‘67 Deusenberg J replica, ‘71 Citroën DS, ‘74 Opel Manta, not one but two Citroën CX GTI Turbo, ‘66 Cadillac Fleetwood, ‘62 Wartburg, ‘66 Ford Ranchero and much, much more.
It’s the reason I bought the car, fix it up a little, enjoy myself a little and sell it for a profit. All seems to be going right. The car will be running right (see my previous post) when it’s going away.

I will give you a mostly uneaten Mars Bar and my weeks wages for it (not much).

DAF with Variomatic Transmission could be fun, fun, fun!

Is number matching really something of note for a 450SL?

The current highest bid is already slightly higher.

Have any other “fun” cars or are you going to look for something else to replace it with? :)

Damn people with their money and what not.

You’re the one with a recent car. Not me.

I’ve got too many cars. I’m keeping my ‘00 Peugeot 406 coupe, as it’s my daily driver. The ‘91 Golf stays as it’s my first car, it hasn’t been driven in 2 years and I want to restomod it some day. The ‘88 205 GTI will go, eventually. The ‘90 BX will go too (505turbeaux, where have you gone to?). The ‘89 BMW E30 Touring is almost done, and I’ll have to find someone for that car as well.

It probably cost less than that Peugeot will go for though haha. It’s already close at that high bid.

It is? Cars do depreciate rapidly in the UK. I bet my great condition 205 GTI is worth more as well then. The 406 coupe, my daily driver, not so much.

3150 in gbp is about 2’200 isn’t it? I paid £3’400 but only £2’650 cash with my trade in. So it’s close to what I actually had to put down but not quite the value of the car.

Had one once!

Awww, unfortunate, so you’re narrowing it all down to 2 rides? If I had a full-time job, my own house and garage, I’d consider importing your 205 GTI, but alas, it’s just not possible for me until then...good luck with the sale!
What site are you using?

The Golf isn’t drivable right now, I’ve got it stashed in a barn somewhere. I also have a recent Focus wagon (diesel manual) as a company car, but that’s no fun and I only drive it for work. I would like another convertible though, for weekends and the like. Maybe another 205 CTI or a Miata. Something like that. But only after the current CTI is gone, and preferably after most of the rest of the cars are gone as well.

Oh, I forgot about the site. The link to the full auction list is in my original text. Mine is #40.
