Now THAT is an epic center headlight. I’ve actually been thinking of doing a Georges Irat post. I think we talked about those cars before, right? I love those postwar things he came up with.

Nope, I can’t recall talking about it with you. We should have. I was triggered by your Pinguin-post though with that center headlight. And quatorzième Juillet of course.

I posted something Irat’s VDB somewhere. This things are so interesting.
That’s right! Happy Bastille Day!

Is that an official name, “Bastille Day”? We know it only as 14 Juillet, or la Fete Nationale?

Those of us that speak English call it Bastille Day. I don’t know when that started. Everyone else goes with Fête nationale. I guess maybe July 14th is too close to our July 4th, and then the thought of “storming the Bastille” is exciting, so we go with that.

4th/14th of July could be the reason. Come to think of it: Is 14 Juillet the reason for the Oppo logo to be in it’s Peugeot Sport livery?

Maybe. I feel like it was a different color on the 14th, though.
