96 today PLUS 65-80% humidity and cement everywhere!!! = one sweaty Cookie Monster busting ass on the typical overheating European cars getting towed in all day.
I’m fully stocked on head gaskets (and all parts associated with the job), radiators, condensers, compressors, fans, batteries, coolant, etc to combat the heat for all 4 of my brands.
Yay Houston
Anyone want to guess what a customer pay A/C compressor job costs on a Lotus Evora?

The Lotus Evora has A/C?
![]() 07/13/2015 at 14:12 |

Ahuevo carnal!

I worked in a sweatbox before, not a fan thats one of the many reasons I’m back in school. That said I still drive with the windows down in 90+.
![]() 07/13/2015 at 14:20 |
|
Next you’re going to tell me these mythical “back seats” aren’t nailed in wooden pallets.

Your forecast is better than the one I got where I live. They just straight-up forgot the rest of the week! And what’s with that thing covering the sun? our moon doesn’t look like that...
![]() 07/13/2015 at 14:23 |
|
$2500
![]() 07/13/2015 at 14:24 |
|
oh man I can’t drive with the windows down like that. Mostly because it take me over an hour to get home all while never reaching above 40mph
![]() 07/13/2015 at 14:24 |
|
5K? That is FUCKING hot!
![]() 07/13/2015 at 14:27 |
|
OH NO A 1F INCREASE; DEATH COMPARED TO ALL PREVIOUS DAYS

Sweat’s good for the pores! Think of it as a rolling sauna. Of course if all your doing is sitting in traffic it does feel like you are in an oven.
![]() 07/13/2015 at 14:29 |

Doesn’t sound like a real sports car lol
![]() 07/13/2015 at 14:29 |
|
welp, I guess not so close. I was expecting people to say $1500- $1800. It’s more like $3800 :] Yay dyslexic! I thought I saw $3200 :]
![]() 07/13/2015 at 14:29 |

LOL!!!!!!! :]
![]() 07/13/2015 at 14:30 |
|
It is, trust me.
![]() 07/13/2015 at 14:37 |

I’m just kidding. Though I don’t really like how it looks, prefer the Elise (I don’t know why, it’s not like it’s a bad looking car).
![]() 07/13/2015 at 14:39 |
|
lol very true :] My dad owns a commercial A/C company. One time he sent me to a Chic-fil-a restaurant to do some fittings and run the plumming for the A/C units on the roof. My thermometer was reading 112 all the time breathing fried chicken/waffle fry smoke for the fryer exhaust stack. I didn’t eat fried foods for like a year after that

Elise and Exige twins were pretty great... when functioning
![]() 07/13/2015 at 14:50 |
|
Man, that would’ve made me hungry AF, and they have refreshing sweet tea. That is pretty warm though. Where I worked was like that but imagine a ware house with machines that vulcanize rubber, that’s the hell I dealt with.
![]() 07/13/2015 at 14:50 |
|
all about that relativity man.
![]() 07/13/2015 at 14:52 |
|
Are they that bad? I live in Canada where these are unicorns (I’ve never seen a Exige), so I don’t know what their reliability is like.
![]() 07/13/2015 at 14:57 |

i’ll just say, ignore everything Top Gear has told you. These cars are not crafted through the expertise of British Engineering. LOLOLOL!!! NOPE! Just a bunch of regular blokes putting all sorts of random parts from random global suppliers.
When they are straight, they do drive pretty damn incredible..... though
![]() 07/13/2015 at 14:58 |
|
So this is to fix the A/C on a Lotus?
![]() 07/13/2015 at 14:58 |
|
oh dayum! All the nopes :( That smell of rubber would of got me sick asap
![]() 07/13/2015 at 15:03 |

the compressor oil was dark with bits of metal. The internals went out. The customer want one from Lotus, not Toyota. Not cheap or an easy job.
![]() 07/13/2015 at 15:06 |

Wasn’t good the air was thick with smoke on hot humid days. It would just hang there. I was concerned for my health.
![]() 07/13/2015 at 15:10 |
|
That’s no moon...
![]() 07/13/2015 at 15:12 |
|
I imagine they didn’t want to hear that their Lotus had a Toyota engine?
![]() 07/13/2015 at 15:32 |
|
Wow
![]() 07/13/2015 at 15:33 |
|
best part of the whole car is that Toyota 2GR, trust me
![]() 07/13/2015 at 15:34 |
|
shit dude I bet. It’s all just chemicals
![]() 07/13/2015 at 22:31 |

If some of you live in Houtson, I pray for you. Not because of the heat.
![]() 07/14/2015 at 04:03 |
|
i would love to have temps like that at present.
instead of 5C (around 40F)
![]() 07/14/2015 at 04:03 |
|
$7K , disassemble half the car whilst you go along?
![]() 07/14/2015 at 08:32 |
|
pretty much :]
![]() 07/14/2015 at 08:33 |
|
fuuuuuuuuuuuuuu! anything below 50F is impossiburuuu for me. I’m not a fan of the cold
![]() 07/14/2015 at 08:35 |

Because we are monitoring New Horizon’s trip around Pluto?
![]() 07/14/2015 at 08:36 |
|
i am , but this week is just nuts!
![]() 07/14/2015 at 08:38 |
|
what sucks is the heat index with the humidity and secondary humidity. They are saying about 41C
![]() 07/14/2015 at 08:41 |
|
that would be heaven!
![]() 07/14/2015 at 09:08 |
|
No, thats not the reason.
![]() 07/14/2015 at 09:12 |
|
Oh ok. Something to do with sports?
![]() 07/15/2015 at 16:21 |
|
Not that either. Just the stats that get displayed about the crime in that city. #Gawddamn
![]() 07/15/2015 at 16:26 |

welp, I guess I am going to be murdered right?
![]() 07/15/2015 at 18:52 |
