Holy shit. If you were a fan in any way shape or form of the original, then it’s instantly identifiable. Season 2 had heaped history upon history. Pretty much every week features a face from the original, without losing its own identity. If you’re a 90s kid, you’ll love it.

My wife and I have been enjoying it a fair amount. Lighthearted and fun, and thankfully the kids’ outfits are looking more realistic. The most recent episode with [spoiler alert] Eric pursuing the Senate seat was a bit off, but an OK change from the usual teen angst stuff.

Girl Meets World, a spin off of Boy Meets World.

I feel like the episode was actually very true to the original. The lesson learning and off the wall situation kind of envoked some of the old Feeney scenes.

The blond girl kind of looks like Chloe from Dance Moms. I know Maddie from the show went on to do some famous pursuits (Chandelier music video, for example), but I don’t know if any of the girls, even Maddie, would give up dance for a TV show (that isn’t a reality dance show).

Topanga boner. I had no idea about this. I was in high school in the early 90’s so I know what it is, I didn’t really watch it.

As a 90’s kid, I was never a Boy Meets World fan.

It took me a while to realize that the parents are the same kids. I did watch the original but I’m not sure if I liked it or just watched it.

eh, never got much into boy/girl meets world. Then again I’m never home when that show is on TV.
