They were incredibad. Also, I think my bad shocks caused my tie rod end boots to blow... Probably.

if that is the ranger i think it is, which is just like mine, the weight split is like 90/10 biased to the front. the front tires always look low and flex easy. plus they are 14’s so i can only find car tires with crap for sidewall strength. gotta get new wheels, and racing shocks.

Its a RWD 1993 Ranger XLT SuperCab with a 4.0 OHV V6, a 5 speed manual and a 3.55 LSD in the rear. Its a fun truck to say the least. I already replaced the shocks with a set of KYB Excel-Gs and I agree with you that the tires available for 14” wheels suck. When I can afford it (and when I can convince my mom to not disown me for making such a frivolous purchase (shes not a gearhead, she doesnt understand that tires matter)) Im gonna get a set of these:
and mount these to them in a 225/60/R15:
But having a non gearhead parent that is cosigner on your bank account sucks. My mom said she’d stop payment on the wheels and tires If I bought them before my shitstain Kumhos wore out. This is how clueless she is about tires; She once told me that snow tires were obsolete and all seasons were better. I mean... Wow.

Mine is a ‘95 with a 2.3l 4cyl and a 5 speed. Told the wife that if i go to at least a 16” wheel, the options for tires, and i mean even just average tires, grows 100 times larger, and can even get tires with LT on them. But i do reccomend highly going to a 16” and not a 15”. Sure it will get you a low-pro look, but you also will be able to find a tire anywhere. Even 15”s are phasing out bad. I looked on Tire-Rack.com and found neat tire and wheel combos for $900 and up for alloys, and even cheaper for steelies. Just remember to check everywhere for price matching.
Also i am about to put KYB gas shocks on mine too, whole reason i looked at this article was i though you videos my truck bouncing and changes the color...
