I’ve been talking to the powertrain chief this morning and he’s been really cool! Also it sounds like I’ll be working electrics on the car! I’m really excited! By the way, if you live anywhere near Louisiana you need to do youself the justice of getting a swamp pop!

Very nice, I’m sure it’ll be a great experience! My biggest regret in college was going with Design Build Fly instead of FSAE. Even leading the team senior year, I was acutely aware that I was building a flying turd made out of soon-to-be splintered matchsticks while other guys were making a goddamn racecar from(almost) scratch. How does LSU usually do?

Very cool, if you want to impress everyone read up on the rules paying special attention to the subsystems you want to work on.
From my experience at university of Illinois electronics was usually small and looking for good members I’m not surprised they are trying to recruit you for that
