...and then doesn’t it piss you off when some drip drags their ass just enough to make you miss the last one right before the highway. By 2-3 seconds. Could have got it anyway on the yellow, probably, but I take a decent bit of pissing off before I get to that point (thankfully). And there way a red light camera, of course.

A-holes. I stuck right beside mine after that until the highway ramp, just in case she wanted to get on.
SO
shallow and immature but it felt good.

This happened to me yesterday. They were going about 10 under. Get caught by the last and longest light because they came to a complete stop right when it turned yellow to turn right. My mom always says it’s God’s way of slowing me down for whatever reason. I say it’s because people don’t know how to drive or only think of themselves on the road.
On a similar note: last week I was going just under 65 in a 65 behind a 18 wheeler in the right lane (left lane was empty/light traffic passing at various rates). This girl starts riding my butt screaming at me to go faster/cussing/giving hand gestures. The left lane was open to pass. Get caught at light and she continues. Light turns green and after screaming at me more she eventually gives up and passes. She turns right at the next light a mile ahead. She beat me there by about 2 seconds. I waved as I passed her.

2nd the motion on the first point.
I’m two minds on the second (not your example, but as a general rule. The person in your example was an idiot). I’m sometimes in a situation where I’m behind someone who has behaving in a questionable, if not yet idiotic, manner. Even if I’m turning ahead, I’d rather get past if there is an opportunity,
just in case
they make the same turn I do and I get stuck behind them.
Another point that strikes me, quoting from certain people I know, “these guys go rushing by me and I’m right behind them at the next light”. This is exactly what happened today. I finally found my opportunity and blew by, hoping to catch the light since it was still counting down. She was right beside me at the light. Butifyou’ddonewhatyouweresupposedtoandmovedoutofthewayyouwouldn’tbecauseI’dhavemadeit. The difference between a red light and a green light is one car, and you never know where that cut will be.

Completely. Like I said, I was in the right lane. She had several opportunities to pass me and didn't. She just kept surging up on me and screaming. I've learned on this road (I commute on it daily) that during the week at normal traffic times its best to go around the speed limit because when I used to try to go fast I would always get caught behind someone cruising in the left lane or get caught by the lights. Now I set the cruise control at the speed limit and make it in the same time and get better fuel economy. The lights are set up to control traffic so you have to go really fast (80 or up in a 65) to beat them and that's only possible later at night or weekends.
