Someone at the Buick factory got a little carried away with the chrome.

This is so amazingly tame for the early 2000s. I hate chrome but honestly I like this a LOT.

I like how it looks, and the chrome trim is fine, but god those wheels are awful and bright.

I really want one of these, black out all the chrome, and use nightshades to darken the wheels a bit. I think it would look mean as hell and then tune the engine a bit and toss on some water/meth injection and have one hell of a touring sedan...
but the expense of doing all of that (or even finding a PAU to start with) could buy a Miata and a decent 2000s Camaro or Firebird.

I’d do it, I’m not into the Miata hype and you already have your track car, A PAU surely is a lot more car than a 2000 Camaro or Firebird.

It’s a lot more luxury, sure, and more practical, but certainly not faster, better handling, or better sounding (except for the stereo. Dear god Buick is good at speaker systems) than a Camaro would be. Definitely more unique, though, but even then I’m not sure if I’d rather have the PAU or a decent restored 1998 Buick Riviera.
