I’m heading up there tomorrow after work to return a tool to the HomeDepot rental area. Will have a box truck.

I’ve driven through Galesburg to get to the Quad Cities a number of times, never seen the town though. I don’t live in either area anymore, have fun with your travels.

This traveling is getting old. My 5th week here. Not much to do.

I’m about an hour west of there.
Also: I find it funny that the cities of DeWitt and Clinton are next to each other. Surely that’s more than a mere coincidence?
(In reference to the governor Dewitt Clinton who built the Erie Canal)

Something like that happened to me once.
Pick up truck & meet coworker for a one night Job in a Sears in Indiana. Go to Bloomington, IN Sears, call contact, drive around back. I’m right here how can you not see me?? Wait where are you, no, what town? Oh I’m 3.5 hours away along 2-lane back country roads. Evansville, Indiana right off the highway & 3.5 hours from home, not 4 hours the wrong way and another 3.5

Clinton Illinois is in Dewitt county... Coincidence unlikely.

I live about 2 hours west of the QC area. If you're looking for something to do you might check out the Rock Island Arsenal. They might do tours.
