And here is Dale Juniors In-Car Audio from the restart (G/W/C) all the way through the cool-down lap after the checkers.. I think he genuinely thought he just watched one of his friends die in his rear-view mirror.... (The wreck starts at around 2:45 seconds if you want to skip through).

When I went to Daytona I sat in seats that close. It was an awesome experience. Thankfully no cars in the fence when I was there.

The coolest thing was that the crew members of Jr’s and Mear’s (as well as a few from others) sprinted out to see if Dillon was ok.
