That commercial is ultra-cheez, but actually, I would kind of like that car, with a bit of resto-mod work. S30ZG over-fender flares, some wide wheels and tires about 16-17” in diameter, and a bit of an interior makeover... Sort of like a custom resto-mod homage to the Nissan Fairlady Z432R (S30 first generation), in an S130 second-generation car.
If the black treatment were narrowed a bit on the front end, and didn’t overlap to the fenders, it could be pulled off.
But copper might be the better color to start from, better even than gold.

black and gold are a great color combination on the mustang. think GT-H.
never really did get why the GT-H was a thing, but i still like the colors.
