I found this 2003 Subaru Legacy Touring GT-B S-Edition on !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . The want is strong.
This one features a 280 hp EJ208 with a 5-speed manual transmission.
This S-Edition features a few nice enhancements over a “standard” S-Edition.
It also features a few not-so-nice enhancements.
Personally, that lower-tier spoiler needs to go. So does the S-Edition badge that I believe is from a much newer S-Edition Forester (SH).
The interior looks inviting, and the seats look comfortable.
This S-Edition also features a Tein Electronic Damping Force Control (EDFC) system. From what I can tell, this controller allows adjustment of the damping settings of the shock absorbers. I don’t know much about this type of setup, but it seems like a neat concept. This also probably means this S-Edition no longer has Bilstein shock absorbers (the “B” in GT-B).
Here you can see the stepper motors for the EDFC system. You can also see how cramped the engine bay appears. I do question the aftermarket intake tube (the box appears stock), and what appears to be extra wires attached to the battery.
If it was after April 2028, it would be on a boat by now. The price ($2,330) and mileage (~60,000 miles) are very tempting. Tempting enough to overlook any minor issues it may be hiding.

Replace the weird bar thing with the normal rear lights and I'm sold. I would rock this every day.

It’s like a Autech Stagea for total lamewads.

I don’t think you would need to replace the rear lights, they appear to remain under that weird spoiler. Although, who knows what condition they would be in at this point.

GTR (effectively) vs Legacy... that seems like a fair comparison...
(I get what you’re saying, but I don’t care)

They can look great, however, the one above just doesn’t look right to me.
These covers are still my favorite for this generation Legacy.

I didn't know it was a cover.
