That would go great with the bratwurst, sauerkraut and deutsche kartoffelsalat that I have planned for today’s lunch. Today’s beer, however, is local, albeit with a very German-sounding name (Kraftig).

I have no idea! Growing up, we called them “Dutch baby pancakes.” Later other people outside the family would insist they were German pancakes. Basically just flour, eggs, milk, butter, cinnamon, vanilla extract.

Fairly positive its a similar misnomer to say French toast, french fries, Sveeeedish pancakes, etc.
